Back To School Equals Back to The Chiropractor!

Did you know chiropractic adjustments have a direct effect on your child's ability to learn? Researchers in New Zealand proved that every chiropractic adjustment has a positive effect on the function of your Pre-Frontal Cortex.

What is a Pre-Frontal Cortex? The Pre-Frontal Cortex is the part of your brain in charge of executive function. I like to think of the brain as the Chief Operating Officer or COO of your body and the Pre-Frontal Cortex as the Chief Executive Officer or CEO. The rest of your brain keeps you alive. The Pre-Frontal Cortex allows you to reason and learn.

Because its job isn't necessary to keep us alive, it frequently gets turned off to save energy. In people with learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, etc it's almost always turned off. It can also get turned off during times of stress or overwhelming new sensory input.

The researchers discovered that adjustments turn the Pre-Frontal Cortex back on. Weekly adjustments are necessary to keep your child's Pre-Frontal Cortex turned on so they can learn, process the world around them, and manage emotions. If your child is showing signs of struggling with executive function issues, weekly adjustments are an absolute non-negotiable for them.

Start your kids on a weekly adjustment schedule and watch this school year be the best one yet!
